We envision a world where survivors are not just safe, but free—free to heal, free to thrive, and free to build a life filled with possibilities. Our goal is to establish safe shelter homes and transition homes in every state and every country where Nepalese families can find protection, support, and the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Through education, advocacy, and collective action, we are working toward a day when every individual, no matter their past, can step forward with strength, dignity, and a supportive community behind them.

Our Story

HamiChhau was founded with a heartfelt mission: to support and empower Nepalese and immigrant survivors of domestic violence. We believe no one should suffer in silence.

The Beginning
Our founders saw the struggles of survivors—trapped by fear, stigma, and legal barriers. Realizing the need for culturally competent support, we created HamiChhau to break the silence and offer hope.

Our Growth
From a grassroots initiative, we have grown into a movement. We provide crisis support, legal guidance, mental health counseling, and economic empowerment programs to help survivors reclaim their independence.
